1. The drums on fire by Violette Banks, otherwise known as Not Yet Titled, seen in Vienna as part of the Elevator To The Gallows exhibition, and still wishing the gallery attendant had allowed me to photograph it, just the one, as my photograph would have been better than this, taken from the 'net. For a start, the walls were black, not grey, and there were giant concave mirrors, cracked and broken, at each end of the raised platform infinitely reflecting the burning drums.

Reminds me of being driven to band practice in South Melbourne every Thursday night, and feeling the strong urge to throw my drums and drumsticks and everything else associated with it into the Yarra River.
